It’s so easy to do wrong when everything feels so right. It’s harder control your words when all you want to do is fight.
It’s easier to take the easy route instead of walking the long mile. It’s harder to find happiness in someone else’s smile.

Its human nature to take but it takes the human heart to give. Yes we’ll all die but that doesn’t mean we’ll all live.
Why are we even here and who are we to please? The world is a burden on our shoulders, makes us drop down to our knees. 
It’s easy to make promises but so difficult to keep. We can never forget the memories that leave scars so deep.
We regret never saying the words that should have been spoken. We fall in love even though hearts are meant to be broken.
We chase the people who cause us pain and ignore those who love us. Our self esteem tells us that no one else should be above us. 
We live by these rules as the days pass by. But deep down inside us we know we’re living a lie.
We give our hearts to others hoping that they won’t break them in two. We always run back to the person who hurt as after saying we’re through. 
We can’t tell friend from enemy nor tell fake from real. We often follow what we see and not how we feel. 
We look down upon others just to make ourselves feel good. We choose not to stand up for the weak even though we know we should.
The life we live is all about making the best choices. But some of us are too afraid to raise our voices. 
To stand up for what is right regardless of what others think. If it means we won’t drown, we let the boat sink.
